Early life

Jeremy Lee Renner was born on January 7, 1971, in Modesto, California. He was one of the seven children of his parents Valerie Cearley and Lee Renner. Jeremy attended at Fred C. Beyer High School and enrolled Modesto Junior College with major in criminology and computer studies.

However, when he took the drama class, he decided to pursue an acting career.

Personal life

Since January 2014 he is married to Sonni Pacheco, the canadian model. They have a daughter Ava Berlin over wich they shared custody after divorce at the end f 2014.

With his friend Kristoffer Winters Jeremy runs the house-renovating business.

He studied Philippines martial art Eskrima and Muay Thai.

Jeremey is a big fan of NFL and supporter of San Francisco 49ers. He narrated the NFL documentary A Tale of Two Cities.

Acting Career

Jeremy s movie debut was in the comedy National Lampoon’s Senior Trip (1995), where he played student Mark “Dags” D’Agostino. The movie itself didn’t achieve sucess but brought Jeremy two guest shows in Deadly Games and Strange Luck.

During the 90s he mainly played guest roles in the series such as The Time of Your Life, The Net, Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Angel.

The first lead role he gained in horror movie Dahmer (2002), where he played a serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. This role brought him a nomination for Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead.

He played an officer Brian Gamble, the best friend of Collins Farrel ‘s character in the crime thriller S.W.A.T (2003). The next year Jeremy appeared in drama The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.

Another lead role he gains in noir-drama A Little Trip to Heaven (2005) co-starring with Forest Whitaker. In the same year, he took the small roles in drama 12 and Holding and North Country.
