Paul Hollywood is a renowned Chef who is English in origin. He is also a part of the reality television series named The Great British Bake off which is broadcasted in the BBC together with Mary Berry in the year 2010.

His father had a bakery and he worked there in his teenage as a baker. Later he worked as a head baker in various hotels in Britain.

Paul Hollywood was born on March 1, 1966 in Wallasey in Merseyside in England. He is married to Alexandra Hollywood. The couple has one child named Josh Hollywood.

His parents were John F Hollywood and Gillian H Harman. His father owned a bakery.

His grandfather was employed at the Adelphi Hotel as head baker. As mentioned earlier, he worked in his father’s bakery named Bread Winner which had bakery chains from Aberdeen and stretched up to Lincolnshire.

Later he worked in several other bakeries situated in Merseyside. Later Paul worked in various hotels like Cliveden Hotel, The Dorchester, Chester Grosvenor and Spa.

He appeared as guest in various television shows which includes The Generation Game telecasted on BBC One, as well as The Heaven and The Earth Show. He also appeared as Guest in This Morning broadcasted by ITV and The Alan Titchmarsh Show.

He has been named as antidote to other judges for various reality show series like Simon Cowell and Len Goodman. He is known for giving honest and straightforward decisions during his judgement.

He started a business of manufacturing handmade food products in Aylesham in Kent and the products were supplied to various stores in Waitrose and Harrods. The company was later abandoned as he went in to debts of about 60,000 Euros.

His book 100 Great Breads which was published in the year 2005 was made the Top Bread and Pastry Book for 2005 by The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.

One of his most expensive recipes for bread in Britain was the recipe of almond and roquefort Sourdough. The roquefort price is about 15 Euros per kilo and is obtained from a specialist in France and the bread flour is obtained from Wiltshire.

He calls his recipe as Rolls-Royce of loafs. He used to be a guest speaker to various food festivals which included Good Food Show as well as the Cake and Bake Show both of which were hosted by BBC and were conducted in London.

He also appeared as a guest speaker for Cumbrian Food Festival.
