Tim Burton (born September 17th, 1987), better known as Shmee150, is an English YouTuber who travels around the world to find the best and most exclusive car content possible.
He captures the content using his signature video selfie technique. He also owns his own cars, which are currently a cerulean blue McLaren 675LT, a dark blue Ferrari FF, and a sapphire blue Porsche Cayman GT4.
Tim dropped out of school at the age of 18 after completing A-levels. He quickly started an online electronics retail business, which turned into a London high-street shop.
Soon, the business changed directions and he went abroad to train as a ski instructor before teaching the sport in New Zealand. After suffering a serious injury, Tim returned to the UK and decided to work in the technology team of an Investment Consultancy based in London. During this period, Tim’s love for cars grew beyond just uploading pictures of car spots on web forums. He expanded his Shmee150 platforms and created unique and exciting supercar videos.
He decided to move away from a full-time job and to focus on his passion for cars and traveling. He worked on various projects related to the supercar video theme, such as freelance media and video work, attending car events, and acquiring promotional opportunities.
No one thought that in just a year, he would be doing something completely different. He decided to stay self-employed, as this allowed him to follow his interests and passions in life, mainly supercars and traveling.
Shmee150 was started in January 2010, when he stumbled upon two brand new cars that were rare to see on the road at the time: a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Lamborghini LP670-4 Superveloce.
Little did Tim know that the short video of those two cars would eventually turn into the venture it has become today. The YouTube channel has since grown and evolved, now covering exclusive events and filming some of the most incredible luxury cars in existence.
Shmee150 has also expanded his network to include his personal blog, where he shares the latest content and insights from the exclusive car world.
