Tony Hadley is a British singer, radio presenter, actor and producer.

His estimated net worth is somewhere around 10$ million.

Early life

Anthony Patrick Hadley was born on June 2, 1960 in Islington, London, England. He grew up with a brother and one sister. His mother worked for the local health authority and his father was an electrical engineer.

Tony went to Dame Alice Owen’s Grammar School. During school years, together with his friends, Tony formed Spandau Ballet. This was the beginning of Tony’s British and international career that will make him hugely famous around the world.

Spandau Ballet and solo career

Spandau Ballet was formed in 1976 by Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, John Keeble, Steve Norman and Michael Ellison. The guys made an international success and even performed at the Live Aid in 1985. They continued releasing songs and albums until 1989 when the band officially split.

Tony then decided to try to make it solo, so he released his first album in 1992. It was called The State of Play and to expand his music business even more, Tony formed his own production company SlipStream Records.

He started producing music for some of the biggest stars in the UK and also continued pursuing his solo career by releasing new songs. He went on a tour in 1996 together with other famous singers. Tony made his name into a legend and even though his songs never reached the success of the ones by Spandau Ballet, he secured his name in the starry sky.

In 2003 he received an ITV award. In 2013 he appeared on RAI TV show La Pista where he was the leader of Tacco 10 woman dance troupe. His latest project is the show I’m Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! In 2015. He was also a radio presenter on Virgin radio for one year and his song After All This Time was used as a soundtrack for the BBC show Down To Earth.

Tony was a co-owner of a Red Rat Craft Brewery and he has issued few beer kinds so far. After company closed he issued a lager for The Great Yorkshire Brewery. Most of his net worth comes from his production company and from authorship rights to some of the ‘80s greatest hits.

Personal life

Tony has five children. He got married for the first time in 2003 with Leonie, and the couple was together for twenty years, after finally splitting up in 2003. With Leonie, Tony has three children, Thomas, Toni and Mackenzie. He later got married to Alison Evers in 2009. The couple lives with their two kids, Genevieve and Zara, in Buckinghamshire.

Another interesting fact about Tony is that he is an Arsenal fan and he enjoys going to their games and cheering for his favorite team. Even though he is already in his late fifties, Tony is still very active and enjoys going skiing and running whenever he can.

Tony gives back to the community as much as he can, so he is the patron of one disease association in the UK. He also joins charitable events mostly around UK since his residence is currently there.

In 2013 he performed on a Boing 767 airplane and set the record for the highest ever performed gig in the history of music. He performed alongside with Kim Wilde, Go West and Bananarama, so this was truly ‘80s heaven on Earth.
