Early Life
Twenty-One Pilots were formed in the year 2009 by its lead vocalist Tyler Joseph and other two members, Chris Salih and Nick Thomas. The name of the group is really unique, right? Actually, this name was given by Joseph while he was studying a play, named ‘All My Sons.’ According to Tyler Joseph, the name has its own depth, and that will drive the band members to do better in future.
It was 2009 when the duo released their debut album, ‘Twenty One Pilots’ and soon they began their first tour of their hometown. In 2010, they became active on Soundcloud and got an immediate response from the public. It didn’t take much time to build up their fan following, and that became the strong base of their gang. The songs that went smashing hit on Soundcloud are ‘Jar of Hearts’ and ‘Time to Say Goodbye.’ These were the spin-offs of the original numbers. But, this time the group faced a hard time as Salih decided to leave it and so he was followed by Thomas.
When the future of ‘Twenty One Pilots’ become skeptical, and the fans got doubtful about it, it was Josh Dun who joined the group as the drummer and the rest his history. They signed to Atlantic Records and released the next song, ‘Goner.’ Together, they are creating smashing hits one after another.
