Early life

Anthony belongs to a Italian family who are settled on the soils of America. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, United States of America on 24th May, 1965.

Very little is known about his early days, only that Anthony was raised in the borough‘s Sheepshead area which comes under New York City. He was enrolled in the New York High School and cleared high school education in 1983.


Anthony after completing his academic endeavor joined US Air Force. Probably after joining air force his interest in hospitality has grown and with the discipline of the chasten surrounding the wish got the mastery. He served the air force till 1990. The life at the cordoned environment was perhaps not matching with the ambition of a young aspirant of hospitality. Coming out from the air force Anthony he joined Embassy Suites at the Times Square.

After serving at Embassy for some time he joined one of the premier hotel as the night manager, it was Plaza Hotel. He was promoted to hold the responsibility of the Director to look after the Front Office operation. He remained at Plaza for four years at a stretch. As per his retrospection one day a little girl while finding the way enquired Anthony, “Mister, where’s Eloise?” have encouraged him. Later with Randee Glick he founded the Eloise tour for the hotel Plaza.

By the time Anthony has earned a good reputation in the hospitality industry, he got appointed at the most prestigious hotel called the Lucerne Hotel as the general manager. The hotel was recognized as the best service hotel by the New York Times Travel Guide is located at New York City on the Upper West Side. The hotel‘s services were further enhanced and improved at the time of Anthony when he was serving the establishment as the general manager.

He has come up quite high in the ladder and this time he received a call from the age old historic and one of the most prestigious hotel in 2005. Now he was roaming at the lawns of Alqonquin Hotel as the general manager. He wanted to get the glory back with its lost Royal elegancy. He convinced the owner of the hotel to close the establishment for renovation. The hotel business remained closed for 29 days. Over $15 million dollars were spent for the total renovation to all corners to rebuild the image and restore the lost memory of Alqonquin Round Table.  After the renovation, the hotel on the Michelin Guide got the high rating. He arranged for Alqonquin’s “$10,000 Martini” and won the “Best of Show Award” from a Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International.

Anthony had also lent his assistance to the Nickelodeon Hotel and Resort. Soon after Tishman Hotel given him the chair of vice president. It was not delayed long to recognize Anthony as the senior vice president and the recognition was given by no other but New York Hotel Management.

He was the executive producer of “Wisegal”. Later teamed with Leo Rossi developed a hotel improvement reality show for the Travel Channel under “Hotel Impossible”.
