Born on March 13, 1986 in England, Ben was raised in London, United Kingdom where he had joined the British Flat Water Kayak Team for nearly a decade. While being a member of the team, he won the junior as well as senior Marathon World Championships.

Brown has also won many World Cup prizes. He became Britain’s first ever Junior Men Marathon World Champion in year 2003.

In year 2010, Brown had a fantastic winters training during his stay in Australia, St. Moritz cross country skiing and south Spain for 6 weeks duration.
