Born on November 30, 1959 in Glasgow, Scotland, Kelly is a descendant from an Irish ancestry and her father, John worked as a television repairman.
Kelly’s family was settled a few years in Scotland before they moved to East Kilbride where Kelly pursued her education from Claremont High School.
