Early life

Sheamus was born as Stephen Farrelly on 28th January 1978 in Cabra, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Martin Farrelly is his father, and he was born with the Capricorn zodiac birth sign with the white ethnicity.

He holds the Irish nationality and also has American citizenship. For his primary education, he was enrolled in the Scoil Caoimhin Primary. After completing the primary learning, he moved to Coláiste Mhuire Secondary School.

He started singing in the Palestrina Choir and continued till he attained the age of thirteen. He was very fond of different sports from his early childhood days. He was particularly good at rugby and football. He got in National College of Ireland, and during these days he represented the college rugby team and got the National Diploma.  Before getting into the world of wrestling, Sheamus had worked in the capacity of IT technicians. Career

He was a regular watcher of wrestling on the television and on realizing that his stature has a convincing strength to be a part of such shows he was inspired to get in the world of wrestling. He got enrolled in the Monster Factory wrestling school for proper training under a trainer. He practiced with sincerity and within six weeks got the eligibility for his debut appearance I the duel as Sheamus O’ Shaunessy, his first ring name. It was just the beginning and even being suffering few injuries he bagged the Irish Whip Wrestling Heavyweight Championship on two occasions.

For quite sometimes Sheamus was ruling the Irish wrestling ring, and he has also gathered some popularity in the British wrestling. He defeated some popular wrestlers in the championship and came across John Cena in the final. Cena was then ruling the WWE ring and was holding the WWE championship. But even Cena failed to stop this Irish wrestler and accepted the defeat making Sheamus the first Irish to win the WWE Championship.

One can always win but to retain is tougher. In few weeks in the Elimination Chamber encounter he lost the title by Triple H., But with supreme wrestling, he defeated Cena once more proving the earlier victory was no fluke and regained the Championship. He clamped the Championship for two months and finally lost the title to Randy Orton.

In 2011 with his immense indomitable effort defeated the most formidable competitor Daniel Bryan and became the World Heavyweight Champion. He kept the title in his favor for 210 days which is third highest in the history of the Championship. Eventually, he had given up on the Big Show tried to regain but failed. Some more years he continued WWE and twice got the US Championship.

Personal life

Jessica Giles had once appeared in his life, but the romance didn’t continue after 2012. Several women were seen beside Sheamus, but he himself had not revealed anything to the world.

Alongside his wrestling, Sheamus had also appeared in the movie ‘The Escapist.’ He had also given his voice in the ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.’
