Early life
The efficient dancer was born in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy on 25th November, 1955. The Italian boy was quite different from other boys and spent his childhood in Italy and lived there for 12 years. From the very early childhood he was very keen in dancing and always got support from his parents in his choice, to make dancing as his career.
Father Werther Tonioli and mother Fulvia Tonioli had always backed their child in his interest. Werther was a bus driver and his wife Fulvia got into stitching seat covers for the cars. Bruno passed his early childhood with his paternal grandparents in Italy. Later in one interview Bruno reported that he had suffered homophobic bullying in his childhood days.
So far we have no information regarding his education. Bruno has enough command over five languages. He used to spend most of his time in dancing and choreographing. Italian was his mother tongue; along with it he is also fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.

Bruno who has taken very important role in many movies and series on television had begun his career as freelance dancer. He served Lindsay Kemp Company and La Grande Eugene. He started choreographing for many prominent stars for their music videos, stage shows and travels. He supported as a choreographer in the creation of the song ‘Election Day’ for the band Arcadia’s music video.

Bruno has reported that he had endured homophobic bullying in his childhood days and probably this suffering has led him to the gay world. He is reported to have dated with someone called as Paul in 2005. The relationship lasted for few years and then departed eventually. Bruno is currently in relation with Jason Schanne.
The duo is together since 2012. Although fans make lot of speculations about their ceremonial agreement but the pair has not reported anything. Controversy would definitely follow the success and here too he is not appreciated for his remark against Michael Bolton and Davood Ghadami.
