Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25, 1975 in Livingston, New Jersey, U.S. she grew up in a large family with a lot of brothers and sisters. Her father worked and her mother was a homemaker and took care of all the children.
Even though she grew up in a nice neighborhood, her family was struggling to make ends-meet. To support herself she decided to move to L.A. to find work and pursue her acting career.
