Jim’s birth name is James Anthony Abbott. He was born on 19th September 1967. His birthplace was Genesee City, Michigan, United States of America. His upbringing was in East Village which he considers his hometown.

Jim is primarily known for his professional playing techniques. Today he is retired from his profession of the major of the American Baseball League. But Jim was a career where he complied with four major teams.

Previous he played as a mere standout but excellent pitcher and then served as a quarterback in his school team.  He went for participating in the Ypsilanti Michigan American Legion Championship where he achieved a recognizable position. During his initial days Abbott was coached and trained by Bud Middaugh, and he served the team of Michigan for three years since 1985. He joined the team of California Angles and gave his best performance while playing as an outrageous rookie.

One of his best achievements is the James E. Sullivan Award for being categorized as the best Amateur athlete in the whole of the nation in the year 1987. He was also recognized for being awarded the Tony Conigliaro Award in the year 1992. The award is religiously given by the Boston Red Sox to the eminent baseball major of American National League. He even a received a gold medal for giving the best possible demonstration in the event of Summer Olympics in the year 1988.

Personal life

Abbott got married to his long-dated girlfriend, Dana Abbott in the year 1991. The family presently resides in California, and currently, he serves in the Department of Labor’s Office of the Disability Employment Policy and strives hard to propagate employability among the huge population of disable people.

He serves as a motivational speaker and is an eminent guest instructor for the team of Los Angeles named Angeles Team.
