Matthew Bujon Brown was born on 10th January 1981 in the city of Ohio, Jamestown, United States of America. He got his basic academic qualification from the Greenview High School and soon completed his course on bodybuilding. During Matt’s early teenage days he somehow got addicted to drugs and remained under influence by alcohol. It even affected his health badly. Brown received his initial training from the famous Japanese trainer Jiu-Jitsu, and on his later days, he went for upgrading his knowledge to Jorge Gurgel that made him receive opportunities to reach MMA.

Career

In the year 2007, February 9th in Georgia, Brown won the championship in the International Sports Combat Federation that was conducted by the referee Douglas Lima. Brown then though of spitting the assured time due to a limited source of monetary associations and in the course of time, The Ultimate Fighter came all the way to Brown’s success. He soon devoted his precious time to getting training from the Matt Hume in the city of Washington DC. The training used to take place in the city of Las Vegas, Nevada .

Matt was chosen among thirty-two fighters among the UFC contracts at six figures in the category of The Ultimate Fighter Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest. On defeating Josh Hall Brown officially made an entry in the show and was successful enough to move to the semifinals by defeating Jeremy May. He was able t manage the head kick of Jeremy but couldn’t manage Sadollah triangle choke.

Matthew Riddle suffered severe injuries in the knee area, and so he was replaced by Brown at UFC 91 and was placed against Ryan Thomas. He used a special technique of armbar to win against his opponent. Even the famous fighter Sell was defeated by him with controversial fights, and finally, he won in the first round via TKO.

Matt got married to his wife Colleen Brown and soon became proud parents of twin boys in the year 2010, 8th October. Brown before choosing the profession of a professional fighter was a successful personal trainer. Being an avid fan of heavy metal music. He even approached the famous vocalist of heavy metal genre James Jasta who is a prominent member of the band Hatebreed.

He was there to write the lyrics of the entrance theme song of UFC. The song was given the title “The Immortal” and was launched in iTunes in the year 2015, 10th March. He also appeared on the debate podcast of The Great MMA that was organized along with Mark Coleman, Jermy Loper, and Damon Martin.

In the year 2016, May 15th, Brown was attacked by Rodrigo Botti who was a coach of the Jiu-Jitsu. The assault actually began in the lobby where Brown was spending his vacation. A bystander had video recorded the whole episode, and the Rodrigo was detained by the crowd till the arrival of the police.

But unfortunately, in the arena of boxing, he was not saved by anyone. He had a tournament with the famous fighter Jake Ellnberger and had received multiple injuries and serious symptoms of post-concussion.
