The actor was born as Jose Pedro Balmaceda in Santiago, Chile on 2nd April 1975. Jose Balmaceda Riera is his father, and his mother is Veronica Pascal. Pedro does not grow up with his in his native place with his parent and sibling. He grew up in Orange County, San Antonio and California and Texas with his brother Lucas Balmaceda. His brother is also an actor who performs in Chile. Presently the actor is staying in New York for over twenty years.
His parents were involved in opposing the military dictatorship. They were Allende’s supporters. At this time of birth, there was an atmosphere of opposing the dictatorship of Auguto Pinochet. After Pascal’s birth, the family reached Denmark as the political asylum was granted there.
