Early Life
Robin was born as Robin Michelle Meade on 21st April 1969, New London, Ohio. Robin’s parents were Liner Meade and Sharon Meade. Robin went to London High School, and after graduating from there, she went to Malone University and the Ashland University.
Robin studied political science, production and programming, radio/television, and performance and graduated with the major degree in programming & performance in the year 1991.
Career
Meade’s career started as a model when she contested in the Miss Ohio beauty pageant in 1992. Robin won the crown and title of Miss Ohio 1992. In the same year, Robin also participated in Miss America beauty pageant, but unfortunately, she only reached the semi-final round. Robin started her occupation in journalism by working for WMFD-TV as a reporter in the Mansfield, Ohio. Robin also worked for WJW-TV in Cleveland and WCMH-TV located in Columbus, Ohio as a reporter and an anchor.
Robin then got an offer from WSVN-TV to anchor their morning show called ‘Today in Florida,’ in Miami, Florida. Simultaneously, Robin also worked as the channel’s health reporter and noon anchor. After a brief period, Meade moved to work with WMAQ-TV which is an NBC Chicago associate. She anchored the morning newscast and later on co-hosted the show weekend newscasts. She also assisted as the channel’s general assignment columnist.
Meade covered the Olympics of the year 1996 and also did a distinct reporting on the Centennial Olympic Park Bombing while working with the channel NBC. In 1995, Meade won an Emmy for her excellent reporting on the 1995 collision between a school bus and a train in which 24 teenagers were injured, and seven were killed. Robin was also voted for the regional Emmy, for her skillful reporting on the ways to decrease the chances of the injury in the survivable of the plane crashes.
Then in 2001, Meade joined the HLN Network, which was then recognized as the CNN Headline News. She was given her own show, ‘Robin and Company.’ After two years the show was changed to ‘Morning Express with Robin.’ Robin appeared on the list of ‘20 Most Popular Television News Personalities’ by ‘Lycos.’ In 2003, Robin anchored the coverage of the Operation Enduring Freedom and also the Operation Iraqi Freedom. This is one of her major work till now.
In an online poll conducted by ‘Playboy.com’ Robin was voted as the ‘Sexiest Newscaster,’ in 2004. Robin was awarded Ashland University’s ‘Young Alumnus Award’ in 2005 for her great work and all her achievements.
Robin picked up the pen and became an author in 2009. She wrote the book ‘Morning Sunshine,’ which she described as a how-to/ inspirational/ autobiographical/ nonfiction/ motivational book. The book was much appreciated by the audience, and it also appeared as the Best-Seller list of in the New York Times under the ‘Advice, How-To and Miscellaneous’ section.
Robin released he country music album named ‘Brand New Day’ in 2011. Meade appeared on the cover of ‘Making Music’ magazine’s January/February issue of 2011.
Robin has also sung on a number of events like the 2012 Coke Zero 400 and 2013 Coke Zero 600. Meade released another music album in 2013.
Currently, Meade I still working with HLN and she anchors the show ‘Morning Express with Robin Meade’ on weekday mornings along with Jennifer Westhoven, Mike Galanos, and Bob Van Dillen. Meade also hosts the show ‘Ask Oprah’s All Stars’ which airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network, along with Suze Orman, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and Dr. Phil McGraw.

Robin started dating Tim Yeager while both they were in college. After dating for a long time, Robin and Tim got married in 1993.
