He decided to make his first debut in the famous Busch Series and withhold the rank on the 17th position proudly, and ultimately winning the race. He is an efficient driver who had been bestowed with the ASN Award as the eligible driver to get titled with the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

He is also considered to be the No. 5 of the Chevrolet Series that was sponsored by the brand Kellogg’s. Terry was ones again recognized at the speedways of Atlanta Motors where he grabbed the championship for almost three two times consecutively. He was declared the double winner.

He was also successful in the Talladega Super Speedway and the series of Pontiac Excitement 400. He was an even successful finisher at the Texas Motor Speedway where he was placed in the 12th position. In the year 2003, he went for winning the AT Richmond and then in 2004 the Mountain Dew Southern 500, just before his retirement.
