Erin had seen a friendly environment in the family as a young girl with her sister Kendra.

Erin started off with her career as a freelancer for the sports channel Fox Sports Florida. She served as studio host and took initiation to become a reporter for the channel Turner South Network. The channel is an Atlanta based network that covers the activities of the local sports academies. She also served the ESPN channel and covered the National Hockey League. She also got an offer to cover the College World Series along with Little league World Series. She never missed reporting the Great Outdoor Games. Their marriage took place in the city of Montana. Unfortunately, Andrews was diagnosed with a case of cervical cancer, and after undergoing a surgery, she was permitted by the doctor to lead a normal life.
