Kristin Cavallari is a famous American fashion designer, actress, and T.V. personality. Kristin’s claim to fame was her appearance in the American television reality series called Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The series focused on the lives of few students attending the Laguna Beach High School.

The show aired on MTV and ran for three seasons. Since then Kristin has appeared in a number of movies and also on the television. Kristin is also famous for her several charity works. Currently, Kristin is married to Jay Cutler and is a mother of 2 boys and one girl.

Early Life

Kristin was born as Kristin Elizabeth Cavallari, on January 5, 1987, in Denver, Colorado. Her parents are Judith Eifrig and Dennis Cavallari. Kristin had two siblings, Gabriel Zamora Cavallari and Michael Cavallari. Unfortunately, Michael Cavallari died on December 10, 2015.

Kristin’s parents got divorced, when she was pretty young and, therefore, she had a pretty stressful childhood because of all the tension between her parents. She also had to change her school many times.

When her parents got divorced Kristin initially moved to Illinois, with her mother. But after sometime due to some clashes with her mother, she moved to her father’s place in Laguna Beach with her brother. After moving to Laguna Beach, she started attending Laguna Beach High School after that.

Career

Kristin’s career started off at a very young age when she appeared on the reality T.V. series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The first season of the show was narrated by Lauren Conrad, who was completing her senior year. The show along with Conrad also showed the lives of her fellow student, Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Morgan Olsen, Christina Schuller, and Trey Phillips.

Kristin was in her junior year when the show started and was the only junior along with Talan Torriero to appear in the show. Kristin was involved in a high school romance with Stephen Colletti at that time. Kristin’s equation with Colletti was not taken in a good way by Lauren Conrad, and this created a love triangle which was a big plot point of the show.

In the second season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, Kristin became the narrator, and she mainly focused on her life.  The season ended with the graduation of Kristin and her friends. Kristin then moved to Los Angeles to chase her career in fashion designing.

While in Los Angeles, Kristin appeared on several T.V. shows like Getting This Party Started, Veronica Mars, and CSI: NY, Cane, and Adventures in Hollyhood. Also, she signed a horror movie named Fingerprints, in 2006. In the year 2009, Kristin was seen in a no. of films both in supporting and lead roles. The films are Spring Breakdown, Green Flash, Wild Cherry, and National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: Freshman Year.

Kristin’s again appeared on television in spin-off series of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, called The Hills, in 2009.  She first appeared in the show in the mid-season finale episode, in which she caught the bouquet in Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s wedding. Kristin resumed her lead role in the second half of the season along with Lauren Conrad. Kristin signed a deal with MTV to appear in two additional seasons of the show.

Kristin was a contestant in the thirteenth season of the hit reality television series, dancing with the Stars, alongside Mark Ballas. She was the third one to be eliminated from the show. Kristin has also established herself well as a fashion designer. She has her own shoes, clothing and accessories line which she did in collaboration with many well-known companies.

Kristin has a shoe line with Chinese Laundry and recently in 2017; she launched her own jewelry line called Uncommon James. Apart from doing all these works, Kristin is very actively involved in many charity works. For many years now, Kristin has been involved with “Until There’s a Cure,” which is a public service advertising campaign and it raises funds for research and vaccination development for HIV and Aids.

Kristin collaborates with PETA and did advertisements for them in 2006. Cavallari was also associated with the campaign to save Ellis Island, called “We Are Ellis Island.”

Kristin also traveled to places like Salvador and Kenya to do charity work in the year 2010-11. In 2016, Kristin published a book named Balancing On Heels which is based on her life. She covered her journey from a teenage girl to be the star that she is today. She did not disappoint her fans at all, as she spilled all secrets of her life in the book. In the book, Kristin wrote all about how her relationship with her high school boyfriend, Stephen Colletti was manipulated by the producers just to get better plot points for the show.

Kristin’s dating history is really long. She has had a number of boyfriends in the past, and the list contains all renowned names. Kristin first started dating her senior in school, Stephen Colletti. They broke up when Stephen graduated and left for college in 2004. Kristin then started dating her schoolmate Talan Torriero. Their relationship was a very short one.

Next, in 2005, she dated Brody Jenner. Their relationship was documented in the show The Hills. They only dated for a year, and Kristin commented that she was too busy working soon after the breakup.
