Born on 6th July, 1972 in New Castle, Australia, Lee Andrew Priest McCutcheon grew up in Wallsend, Australia.

His mother was also associated with bodybuilding competitions and with the help of his grandfather Lee Priest started his training at the age of 12 and posed on stage in many events along with his mother.

At the age of 13, he competed for the first time and won. This achievement was thereafter followed by numerous other wins at the age of 17, 18 and 19 by participating in various competitions under IFBB (International Federation of BodyBuilders).

At 17, Priest competed at World championship and managed the fourth spot.

Even though he again competed at the age of 19 and won the Mr. Australia title, due to his younger age, he was not given the pro card.

Finally, at the age of 20, Priest was discovered during the Niagara Falls Championships and became one of the youngest men to become an IFBB pro.

Apart from being a bodybuilder, Priest is also a race car driver and started his racing journey in 2002.

In 2005, he won Rookie of the Year, also followed by another win at SCEDA Racing Championship in Lancaster, California in the year 2006.

Priest has done some work in movies, TV and also featured in promotional ads of Big Brother Australia 2012.

After seven years of career gap, he returned in 2013 and won the title of the NABBA Mr. Universe.

Then he appeared as a special guest at Universe Championships 2014 during his UK tour. Further, he joined the MuscleSport Magazine as a monthly columnist in 2014 and was featured in their cover of winter 2015 issue.
