Early life
Nicola was born on 26th October 1982 in West Yorkshire of England. Nicola was born to an African descent family, and her father is Innocent Adams, and Denver Adams is her mother. She carries a British nationality and African ethnicity.
She had been educated in Leeds at Ebor gardens from Agnes Stewart Church of England High School. After completing her schooling education, she went to Rochdale to get enrolled in the Hopwood Hall College.
Along with her education, she started her boxing training at the very early age and got on the rings to win the bout when she was just 13. Career

She won a Silver medal in the bantamweight category in Denmark at the European Championships in 2007. By doing so, she became the first female English boxer who got a medal in any major event. She continued her major success in 2008 World Championship at China by winning yet another silver medal.
Unfortunately, her triumphing march is temporarily obstructed by a back injury, and she remained away from any bout for some time healing the injury. In 2010 at Bridgetown, Barbados she returned to her winning rhythm by clinching a flyweight silver in the World Championship.
During this period Nicola faced a financial crisis and employed herself in soap opera as Emmerdalle, Coronation Street or EastEnders. The struggle was on with more power and fierce, and at Echo Arena Liverpool in 2010 November she claimed the GB Amateur Boxing Championship.
In 2011 in Katowice, the boxer got the Gold at the European Union Amateur Boxing Championship. The same year in July Nicola was included by the BBC to feature “6 Promising Britons to watch in the Olympics”. In 2012 Summer Olympics she created history by defeating Ren Cancan to get to the podium to receive the first Olympic boxing Gold for women. Then she got 2014 Commonwealth Gold and retained her Gold in 2016 Rio Olympics. On 23rd January 2017, she became a professional boxer of the ring.

In the ring, she might have to fight with another lady as per protocol of the game. But in case of life, the lady does not restrict herself to any particular gender and openly claims her inclination to either sex.
