After the successful dealing with the Giant, the duo went into another deal with another reputed label in the industry, Interscope Records. They released their much-planned album titled “This or That.” In 1999 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart of the Billboard the album peaked #30 and Top Heat Seekers chart it reached the top position. The album was enriched by the contribution of some prominent figures of the hip-hop genre. The personalities were Eminem, RZA, Kool G Rap, Xzibit, Tech N9ne, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One, The Roots and Pharoahe Monch. The fantastic performing ability mingled with the overwhelming acceptance of the music lovers paved the way for his appearance in “The Reel Me” an endeavor by Jennifer Lopez in 2003.

The story of the eminent rapper will remain unfinished if his relation with MTV is not mentioned. In 2000 MTV approached Sway to join as a correspondent and report on music videos and special news for the network’s “Total Request Live.” He was also assigned to the “Direct Effect” to throw light on the music videos under hip-hop genre. The same year Sway did not want to renew his contract with MTV but the next year rapper came back with the authority of envisaging new projects being second to Carson Daly to do so.

In 2007 Sway was seen in “Short Circuit,” a comedy show of MTV network. Along with the assignment of MTV Sway is also hosting “Sway in the Morning” as SiriusXM! Channel 45, which are aired from Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning until noon ET.
