Theo Paphitis is an Entrepreneur and British retail magnate of the origin of Greek Cypriot. What made him famous was his appearance in a reality show named Dragons Den that was telecasted on BBC.

Theo was born in Limas sol, Cyprus on 24 September 1959. At the very early age of 9 he shifted to England with his family. There he studied at various schools including the Ambler Primary School, Islington and Woodberry Down Comprehensive School.
He started working as a filing clerk at a City of London at an insurance broker office. Later he switched the job and worked as a sales assistant for selling luxury watches for few years.
Soon at the age of 23 he started his own property finance company with his friend Mark Moran. He then became successful in his company and later he also bought several companies like NAG Telecom, Ryman, Boux Avenue, hardware retailer Robert Dyas Company, Walton & Hersham etc. Paphitis is also a director and one of the owners at Isthmian League side.
He firstly appeared in the serious of Back to the Floor on BBC. Later in the year 2006 he was seen as a dragon in entrepreneurship series of Dragons’ Den of BBC. In 2010 he was seen in a series of BBC with the name as Theo’s Adventure Capitalists.
In the year 2011 he also hosted Britain’s Next Big Thing series on BBC.
He was also seen on several other series that includes famous names like Question Time and ITV’s The Agenda. He also worked for charity with his show on BBC as Famous, Rich and hungry that was done with a motive of raising fund for people of Britain who are living below the poverty line and also for the Sport Relief.
In his personal life he is happy with his wife name Debbie. They have five children out of which three are daughters and two are son.
