Vikram Vij is of Indian Canadian origin. He is chef, author and a famous television celebrity. He is one among the investors of Dragon’s Den series after 2014. He and his wife Meeru is the owner of two restaurants namely the Vij’s Restaurant and the Rangoli restaurant.

Later in the year 2010, they published another famous book with the name as Vij’s at Home: Relax Honey. This book received second position in the category of best Indian cuisine book as in the category of world at the event of Gourmand World cook book award held in 2010.

In 2012, food truck was launched by Vij as Vij’s railway express. This was a truck that serves delicious Indian curries on the streets of Vancouver. Later in the year 2014, he started his own restaurant with the name as My Shanti that has dishes from all around the world of all flavors & ingredients. My Shanti is a peaceful restaurant at South Surrey.
