Early life
Christopher Livingstone Eubanks was born on August 8, 1966 in Dulwich, London, England. He grew up with his brothers and his mother, Rachel Scollins and he spent a part of his childhood living in Jamaica. He lived in a very poor community and his family struggled to survive.
Chris went to Northwold Primary School and Tomas Calton Secondary School in Pechkam. During this time he was living back in England and because of his reckless behavior in school his father sent him to live again with his mother in New York.
Chris moved to Bronx, again, a tough environment to live and grow up in. luckily, he focused himself on sports and managed to get away from all of this.
Professional career
To save himself from his bad life, Chris focused on boxing to manage his anger in this way. He trained in the Jerome Boxing Club together with his brothers. He made his debut against Tim Brown and became a middleweight champion.
He fought for a while in middleweight category and moved later Super-middleweight. In his long career he won several super-middleweight championships and became one of the highest paid boxers of his time. His fighting style was amazing and many feared to stand face to face with this hard player.
He finished his career with total of 45 wins and 5 loses, which is quite impressing. He was at the peak of his career during 80’s and a large number of people would come and pay for his matches. He was worth several million dollars at that time but just like many other athletes, his fame wasn’t forever.
In 2001, after his boxing career, he appeared in one season of celebrity Big Brother and he was actually the first ever contestant that got evicted from the house because of his bad behavior.
He had a pretty lavish lifestyle, which made him go bankrupt in 2009. He spent his money on luxury cars, eccentric clothing and he was even voted the most eccentric star of the nineties. He had several luxury cars that he flaunted gladly to the public.
Chris lived in a huge manor. In 2005 he became the ambassador of the GamCare gambling charity that supports responsible gambling.
In 2010 he started creating suits for brands like Cad and the Dandy that helped him pay some of his debts. He is currently working on some business projects, but his retirement is what he is really focused on, after all he did deserve it.
Personal life
Eubank got married for the first time in 1000 to Karron and together they have four children. The marriage didn’t last and the couple got divorced, in the meantime Chris had affairs, and he even has a son from one of his affairs.
Paternity test was positive and Chris had to pay 30$ thousand in settlement to Cynthia Wilson, who was his mistress at the time. He was also included in an incident where one construction worker died after a car hit him.
Chris was driving but he was involved in a car collision that ended in this terrible tragedy. He was fined with 250 thousand pounds. In 2014 Chris got married again to his manager Claire Geary. His son Chris Jr. is also a boxer and Eubank decided not to have anything with his boxing career, ad that he wants him to succeed by himself.
