Early Life

Hank’s full name is Henry Randal “Hank” Baskett III. He was born on September 8, 1982, in Clovis, Mexico. Hank’s father’s name was Henry Randall “Hank” Baskett Jr., and his mother’s name was Judy Baskett. Hank is of African-American descent.

Hank’s father used to be in the Air Force, but later he joined a social service programme as a director, while Hank’s mother was a financial officer at the Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis. Hank attended the Clovis High School where he was very active in sports especially in basketball, track, and football. He was also lettered in these three games.

Hank seized a state record in the high jump of 7ft leap which he did at the year 2000 state track meet that was organized in Albuquerque. Hank graduated from Clovis High School with a CGPA of 4.0 in the year 2001. Hank went on to study at the University Of the New Mexico. While studying there, Hank was the lead receiver of the football team of the university. His excellent performance in the game earned him the Reese Leroy Hill Memorial Award as the team’s Offensive Player of the Year. He also won the All-Mountain West Conference (MWC) honours for posting 67 receptions for 1071 yards and touchdowns in his senior year.

Hank graduated from the University Of New Mexico with a degree in the General Management. He was also a four-time all-academic MWC honouree.

Career

After graduating from the University Of New Mexico, Hank was signed by the Minnesota Vikings in 2006 as a free agent rookie. But, soon he was exchanged with wide receiver Billy McMullen in Philadelphia Eagles.

Hank played a game in contradiction of the Dallas Cowboys in which he had 112 receiving yards and one touchdown. While in a game alongside the Atlanta Falcons, he had one touchdown and 177 receiving yards. Hank was awarded the rookie of the week honours for his excellent performance in all these games.

With two touchdowns and 22 receptions for 464 yards, Hank completed his rookie season, and he was given the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) of special teams in the year 2007. Baskett made a record of three touchdowns 440 yards and 33 receptions with an average of 13.3 yards by playing 16 games in the year 2008.

In 2009, during the offseason, Hank played as a controlled free agent and signed a one year contract in February 2009. However, he was released from the team in September because the team already had seven wide receivers, and also they wanted to sign another player named Michael Vick. Immediately, after leaving Philadelphia Eagles, Hank went on and signed a year contract with the Indianapolis Colts, as one of their player Anthony Gonzalez had to leave the team because of a knee injury.

In February 2010, in a game against the New Orleans Saints, during Super Bowl XLIV, Hank failed to perform well which led to the Saints winning the game by 31-17. Hank was released from the team the very next day. Hank again joined the Philadelphia Eagles in March 2010, for $800000 in a one year contract. He was released from the team in September 2010.

In September 2010 only, Hank again joined the Minnesota Vikings. In 2010, Hank played total eight games, and most of the games were against special teams. Hank was released from the Minnesota Vikings in March 2011, and he was not signed by any other team which officially ended his NFL career. Apart from being an excellent football player, Hank has also been seen in many reality television shows.

Hank was seen in the spin-off series of The Girls Next Door, ‘Kendra’ which was a documentation of Hank’s wife, Kendra Wilkinson’s life. The show was a huge hit, and it ran for three seasons. Currently, Hank is appearing on a show called ‘Kendra On Top,’ with his wife, Kendra Wilkinson. Hank also owns a video game company called GAEMS, which sells all kind of computer gaming equipment.

Personal Life

Hank is married to Kendra Wilkinson, who was a girlfriend of Playboy editor Hugh Hefner. Hank proposed to his girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson in Seattle,  on top of Space Needle in November 2008. When Hank proposed to Kendra, they only knew each other for six months. Hank and Kendra got married on June 27, 2009, at the Playboy Mansion.

Hank and his wife were blessed with a baby boy on December 11, 2009, who is named Henry Randall “Hank” Baskett. On May 16, 2014, Hank and Kendra had a baby girl who was named Alijah Mary Baskett. After the birth of their second child, Hank was allegedly involved in an affair with a transgender model whose name was Ava Sabrina London.

In Spite of the affair, Hank and Kendra are still living together. After the end of his NFL career, Hank suffered from depression. In an interview, Kendra and Hank spoke all about it. Kendra accepted that since she was pregnant with their second child at that time, she never paid attention to Hank’s depression and did not provide the love and support to Hank that she should have given.

During this period, Hank started taking alcohol and drugs. Hank admitted that his drinking problems became very serious and he could not control it anymore. According to Hank, his alleged affair with Ava Sabrina London was a result of his depression and drinking problems. But, he did take full responsibility for the affair and said that he was indeed at fault. As of now, Hank lives in Voorhees Township, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
