Career
John started his career in the film industry in 1981 as the production assistant in Ladd Company. Then he got his assignments in story editing. In the same year he got into the mail room at the same company. In 1985 he worked for Warner Brothers in the ‘Police Academy 2: Their first Assignment’. John was the executive producer for the film. Then John moved to join MGM/UA in the capacity of vice president senior production in the same year. In 1988 for the worldwide production he became the executive vice president.
In November 1990 John was the executive vice president of Paramount, a renowned name known to any movie lover. Next year in December 1991 Paramount Motion Pictures Group have left no other option but to honor John Goldwyn as their president.
In 1997 a special position was created for the pioneering personality at Paramount and his guidance as president was further required for another five years. In 2006 at “Dexter” which was a show time series John was the executive producer.

John was earlier married to Colleen Camp and they got one daughter Emily Goldwyn. On 30th April, 2011 Jeffrey Michael Klein got into promised and exchanged ring with John at Marshall, California.
