Born on November 5, 1973, in Ft. Riley, Kansas, Johnny has a Thai bloodline as his mother was an immigrant from Thai to the United States whiles his father, lived in America who has an Irish and Croatian bloodline. This was his Major League Debut after playing in the Minor League for Wichita Wranglers. He continued playing for Royals from the year 1995 to the year 2000. His best season was obviously 2000 when he controlled the American League with 136 runs, 46 stolen bases. In 2001, he joined the Oakland Athletics.

After spending almost a year with this team, he signed Boston Red Sox for $31 million on 21st December 2001. This was a four-year contract. This was the high time of his career as a baseball player. In 2003, he made a record by securing the second place as a baseball player in the MLB history from the year 1900 who has recorded three base hits in one inning. He did it in a match against Florida Marlins. He played for Red Sox until 2005. Through these years he proved himself every time to be a strong player. During a game of 2003 of American League Division Series, he collided with head with his teammate Damian Jackson and concussed badly. But, that couldn’t stop him to achieve new goals.

In 2004, he established himself only the second in the leagues with 123 runs and also started to make his place stronger as the lead-off hitters and center fielders in the game. 2005 brought changes in Damon’s career when he signed a four-year contract with the New York Yankees for $52million dollars. Again in 2004, Damon married Michelle Mangan, and in 2007, they welcome their first daughter, Devon Rose. Later, in 2008, they got their second daughter, Danica Rayne and in 2012, they became parents of twin girls, Dasha and Daliah. Their fifth daughter, Dreanna Michelle was born on 2015, and they are expecting the sixth child.
