Jaclyn Swedberg is an American model and an actress who got famous after joining the cast of Badass! on Playboy TV. She was also The Playmate of the Year in 2012.
Early life:
She was born on August 14, 1990 in San Pedro in Los Angeles in California under the name Jaclyn Elaine Swedberg.
She grew up in Chino Hills area in San Bernandino county. She finished both elementary and high school in that area. She graduated from Chino Hills High School in 2008.
After the high school graduation she enrolled college to study Communications but still haven’t majored. It seems that her modelling and acting career takes too much of her time to successfully finish her studies. Her fellow friends stated that she was never really ambitious about getting a degree and she wanted to become famous by being a TV person.
She always spoke about her wish to become a broadcast journalist or a TV host but lately she had more work in other areas.
She was very shy when she was younger so most of her friends and family members were surprised after she joined Badass! She says that it helped her to get out of the shell and shine.
Career development:
In 2010 she joined the cast of above mentioned TV reality show which she hosted until 2011.
She also appeared in the “Playboy’s Beach House” Music Broadcast for 4 episodes alongside Victoria Mongeon and Jessica Hall.
The same year Jacelyn was in “Playmate Casting Call” TV Special in The Mansion. There she appeared as herself.
She became the Playmate of the Month in April 2011 of the American Playboy and the next year she was chosen to be the Playmate of the Year. That launched her career to the top.
She also made it to the cover of Playboy Argentina the same year and to German Playboy too.
She acted in the TV movie Pauly Shore’s Pauly~tics in 2012. She got decent reviews for her acting in this series.
in 2013 she was given the role of ‘Hillary’ in the movie called “Snake and Mongoose”. It is a sports movie with Noah Wyle and Jesse Williams in leading roles.
She starred in Steve Wolsh’s supernatural horror film called “Muck” in 2015.
The same year she appeared in one episode of The Playboy Morning Show TV series and in a TV movie called “Live from Avalon Hollywood” which is the 8th part of the Annual Babes in Toyland franchise.
Personal life:
Outside cameras, she leads a normal quiet life: she likes to bake, read, travel and play Scrabble. People who tried out her cooking said that she is also very talented in that area. She oftenly claims that she is just lime everybody else and that, behind the cameras, she likes to have a quiet day every once in a while.
Rumour has it that she is very annoying and mean in person. People that have worked with her claim that she is very needy and that one can not simply stand her when she starts stating all of her wishes. However, we don’t know are these all statements from people that got into fights with here and want to make her appear a bad person. It’s up to you to judge.
