Skooly is an Atlanta rapper and one of the founders of the hip hop group named “Rich Kidz” whose main founder was RKaleub.

Early years

Skooly was born on July 30, 1994 in Atlanta in Georgia, under his real name: Kazarion Fowler.

During his high school period he has met Kaelub Denson with whom he liked playing basketball. They began to hang out together and realized they have one more thing in common and that was music.

Kaelub, who is known today as RKaleub formed a music band and invited Skooly to join him. A part of the group were the boys that went to Frederick Douglass High School with the two of them.

Career Development

In 2008 the group was finally formed and it included eight members. RK Sabo and RK Sapp. RK stands for the groups name “Rich Kids” which was later altered to “Rich Kidz”.

Their first track was called “Wassup” and it made them known to a narrow circle of people. After releasing their new track called “My Partna Dem” they became known widely and eventually they were recognized in their city.

They were quite a businessmen because they used their songs as mobile phones ringtones which made the singles spread faster and wider all across Atlanta.

They began getting gigs, they hadn’t choose where to play so they played at music clubs, birthdays and even strip clubs.

They became popular and the gigs became their everyday work. But Skooly wouldn’t leave the school: he wanted to graduate and finish school like the rest of his schoolmates. Although it ment that he sometimes had to go from gigs directly to class.

After a while, some of the group members became unsatisfied and wanted to start a solo career. The first was Jose Guapo in 2012, and afterwards two more. They were replaced and the group remained active.

Two of their albums became very popular: “Money Sway” and “The West Side Story”. After the Columbia Records label took them under it’s wing, their music spred even further accross the states.

Before that they were signed to Grand Hustle.

“My Life” was featured by another known Atlanta rapper called Waka Flocka Flame in 2014.

After some members went on to pursue their own solo careers Skooly also decided that it is time for him to release his first solo album. So came “Blacc Jon Gotty” in 2015, with excellent critics.

Skooly collaborated with many rap artists and stars: Short Dawg, Tity Boy and the famous Young Thug.

His collaboration with  21 Savage ended with a single called “21 Guns.”

A mixtape “Trench Gotti” was made in collaboration with producers Nard &B and with XL.

“King Cosa” in 2016, was a result of a collaboration with Rich Homie, Tarentino and Spodee.

Skooly is today signed to a record label owned by  2 Chainz ” T.R.U.”.
