Hayley Hasselhof is a known American actress and a plus size model who is also known as a daughter of an actor David Hasselhof who became famous for his role in the series “Baywatch”.
Early life:
Hayley was born on August 26, 1992 in LA in California, USA.
Her mother Pamela Bach (birthname Weissenbach) gave birth to her abd her older sister Taylor Ann.
She had a happy childhood playing with her sister and enjoying her lifestyle as a kid with famous parents.
All that changed when she entered puberty and began to gain weight. She was often called fat and was very sad because of the way people treated her. She always had a strong character so she decided to fight against prejudice.
As a kid she started taking acting classes and never told her friends about it. She found those lessons therapeutic.
Career development:
She started doing some real acting in 1999 when she appeared in the TV series “Baywatch” where her father had a leading role.
After that her second acting gig was a role of Amber in a dozen episodes of a known ABC series called “Huge”.
She starred in their family reality series “The Hasselhoffs” which didn’t last long.
Hayley also starred in “Celebrity Showmance”, a reality show where she was partnered with Kylie Christie from “Geordie Shore” in order to convince the public they are dating.
Since 2007 she has been a plus size model for Wilhemina Models and after that she was signed with Ford Modelling Agency.
In 2014 she was one of the models for the British Plus Size Fashion Week.
She decided it is time for her to start her own business so she released her first clothing collection for Elvi- a British plus size retailer.
Personal life:
Although she isn’t thin she maintains her looks by boxing at home with her trainer and going to pilates. Since she was always very active she couldn’t find out why she wasn’t loosing weight. After her thyroid was tested she learned that her build is genetic.
She was arrested driving under the influence this summer and got 3 years probation period, a 90 day program to follow and an ignition interlock system installed in her car — every time she would want to start a car she will have to blow into a breathalyzer.
She has an older sister Taylor Ann whobis also an actress and who was a member of 2015 reality TV series “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills”.
Hayley is very close to her father. After David and Pamela divorced in 2006 they each of them got custody of one daughter. After a few years David got custody of both of them.
She currently hasn’t got a boyfriend but she is focused on her career. She points out that if she meets the man of her dreams she will slow down and start a family. There will be time for work.
